Android fans are getting more and more anxious, as new details about the upcoming Nexus 5 (2015) and Nexus 6 (2015) have surfaced on the internet.
It seems that Google is preparing to launch its new line of Nexus devices in the upcoming weeks, which include the much anticipated Nexus 5 2015 (now known as the Nexus 5X) and the new Nexus 6 2015.
As the release date of the Nexus devices approaches, there are more and more leaked details about them. LG was in charge to design the Google Nexus 5 2015 (Nexus 5X), while the Nexus 6 2015 will be manufactured by Huawei.
New rumors say that Google will implement a new “Nexus Protect” scheme, which will work like an extended warranty.
The “Nexus Protect” will act likewise the AppleCar or other warranties that are sold by retailers. This source code was found by Android Police in the Google Play Store, but the users can’t see it yet.
With other words, if you buy more than one Nexus device at the same time, you will have to add the Nexus Protect feature to all of them (or to none of them) to complete the purchase. This pop-up message will most likely appear to buyers during the purchase.
With other words, if someone wants to buy several Nexus device, the buyers will need to buy the Nexus Protect warranty for all of them or none at all. However, this is not sure yet, so we should just wait and see what Google has to say about it.
The Nexus 5 2015 (Nexus 5X) will feature a 5.2-inch display that will support a Full HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and will support 3GB of RAM. The Nexus 5 2015 (Nexus 5X) will be released with variants of 16 and 32GB of internal storage, it will sport a primary camera of 13MP and a secondary camera of 2MP or 5MP.
Unfortunately, Google or LG hasn’t confirmed any of these specifications yet.
