According to some earlier rumors, Microsoft is planning to release the Surface Pro 4 this October. With other words, this will happen one month later after the launch of Apple’ iPad Pro and this will look like a direct response from Microsoft.
Surface Pro 4: Specifications
In concordance with Business Insider, the Surface Pro 4 will come with either an Intel Core M Broadwell CPU or the new Skylake chipset. The device will probably have at least 4-8GB of RAM, but there will be a 16GB RAM variant as well. When it comes to the internal storage, the device will probably come in three variants: 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. However, there are rumors saying that there are high chances that the device will also feature 1TB of internal storage.
Surface Pro 4 to be released on October 6, 2015?
According to the latest rumors, Microsoft is actually planning to release its 2-in-1 device during an event that will be held on October 6, 2015.
Currently, Microsoft refuses to say anything about this device, but if the latest rumors are right, this device will be revealed next week. If the Surface Pro 4 will truly feature the Skylake processor, it will be thinner, lighter and more powerful than the Surface Pro 3.
The Surface Pro 4 is also expected to be released in two size variants: 12-inches and 14-inches. The device is also expected to come with a 2x more powerful GPU than the one found on the Surface Pro 3 and a USB Type-C port.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will run on the Windows 10 OS and it will surely be way better than the iPad Pro that Apple just released a few weeks ago.
