Microsoft has marked the 6th of October in its calendar. This will be the inauguration date for various devices amongst which the Lumia 950 and the 950 XL handsets are part of. Also known as Cityman (Lumia 950) and Talkman (Lumia 950 XL) these two devices have been the talk of the town. However, a new wave of specs has surfaced online, but this time they have been leaked directly from the Microsoft Store. We are referring to the UK Microsoft Store here and even if there wasn’t any confirmation regarding the price or when the devices will be available, various other specs were exposed.
And as you might assume, there are lost of specs that coincide with the previous leaks that surfaced online.
So, as noted by WinBeta, both Lumia gizmos will pack a 20MP camera snapper including Carl ZEISS optics. They will have the same internal memory space, this being 32GB internal memory and they will also pack a microSD card (expandable up to 2TB). As far as the display, the Lumia 950 will be the smaller version, having only a 5.2-inch Quad HD display whilst the Lumia 950 XL will roll out with a 5.7-inch QHD screen. Amongst these listed specs on the Microsoft UK Store, there was another entry stating that both Lumia devices will be running on Windows 10 OS.
Under the hood, they will both be fired-up up by a Qualcomm processor. The Lumia 950 will have the Snapdragon 808 chipset under the hood while its larger sibling, the 950 XL version will sport the Snapdragon 810 version. Another thing they have in common is the 5MP front-facing snapper and the 3GB of RAM.
Microsoft has been pretty buttoned-up regarding these upcoming Lumia releases, however all will be cleared up at the event scheduled for the 6th of October.
