The Marshmallow update is likely to be released on Samsung’s 2015 devices such as the Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge Plus and Note 5, as according to new reports, this might be happening very soon, because the South Korean company is preparing massive software upgrade.
In concordance with SamMobile, since all the devices we’ve mentioned above run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, they will most likely be updated to the Android 6.0 Marshmallow shortly after it will get released.
LG G4, G3 to be updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow
In concordance with GforGames, it seems that LG is preparing its G3 and G4 for the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. We also remind you that the South Korean multinational conglomerate corporation headquartered in the LG Twin Towers building in Yeouido-dong, unveiled its new LG V10 smartphone, a device that will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box, but it will be most likely upgraded to the Android 6.0 Marshmallow very fast.
There are also signs that LG is preparing for this OS update, as the LG Korea support page already contains Android 6.0 Marshmallow categories for the G3 and G4 models alongside the previous OS versions. Unfortunately, LG hasn’t confirmed any of these rumors yet, so we should take them with a bit of salt.
We remind you that LG has updated even its mid-range line of smartphones and tablets to the Android Lollipop, so it will not be too hard to update most of them to the upcoming Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The final version of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow will be released for the public on October 5, 2015.
Will you update your smartphone/tablet to Android 6.0 Marshmallow once the OTA update will be available for it?
