Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Gameplay Changed After Beta Testing
The Call of Duty: Blacks Ops 3 BETA has just ended and thanks to the players’ feedback, the developer of the game is going to change some of the features of this game.
In concordance with PlayStation Blog, David Vonderhaar, the design director at Treyarch Studio, announced that there will be made some changes to the game based on the players’ feedback. First of all, the studio is working on an issue about the Black Hat hacking mechanic, which seems to be too powerful. At the same time, the Rejack ability has been tweaked, as well as the kill cam, grenade use and flinching.
It seems that the grenade was too powerful and this made the developer change the amount of time given to the players to unlock the Tactical Mask for protection. At the beginning of the BETA, the Tactical Mask could be unlocked from a higher level. However, it seems that from now on, you can pick it up at a lower level in order to have some protection against the impact with the grenade and Nova Gas.
At the same time, the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 for PC had many issues. It seems that the game didn’t run as smooth as it should on some high-end computers. But, it is good to know that the PC beta didn’t have the final performance optimization. The developer confirmed that they are continuously working on improving the performance of the game and that the hardware partners are getting prepared to optimize the drivers for this game.
Also, the mouse lag has been fixed and now it works as it should. The beta version also came with many crashes and freeze issues which, according to Treyarch, have been addressed and fixed.
Treyarch is currently working on fixing all the issues that the players have reported during the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 BETA.
