Finally, Huawei has confirmed the devices that will receive the latest Android OS version. According to the report, Huawei will release the Android 6.0 Marshmallow for the following devices: Honor 7i, MediaPad X2, Honor 4C, Mate S, P8, Ascend G7, Honor 7, Honor 6, Honor 6 Plus, Honor 4X and Ascend Mate7.
According to the latest rumors, Huawei will soon officially announce other devices that will receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. For now, this list has only the devices that have been released in China, but Huawei is also expected to release a global official list of devices that will receive the latest Android OS update.
In concordance with GSM Arena, Huawei is planning to release the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for a part of the confirmed devices sometime in November 2015. However, there are high chances that delays will occur as most of the devices that they’ve confirmed will most likely get the update sometime in early 2016.
The Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes with many improvements and updates that will help your Android device to run smoother than before. At the same time, the new Android OS comes with Android Pay, which will allow you to pay for using the fingerprint authentication facility.
If your Android has battery issues, they are about to end, as the Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes with Doze, an application which will improve the battery life of your device. It will also end background applications when the device is in idle mode, in order to conserve as much energy as possible.
In Android 6.0 Marshmallow, you can allow/deny permissions to a specific application. This way, you will have full control of the data that an application can access on your device.
