Samsung Galaxy S6 and Motorola’s Moto X Gets Updated To Android 6.0 Marshmallow

Android 6.0 Marshmallow is getting ready to be released for many devices, but today we’re going to talk about Samsung Galaxy S6 and Motorola Moto X.

According to the latest reports, a BETA version for the Android 6.0 Marshmallow is already made for the Galaxy S6, but Samsung decided to not release it yet for its devices for testing. It is good to know that this OTA update will also be released for the Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 5.

If the latest rumors prove to be right, the Android M will be released for the Galaxy S6 before the end of 2015 and it will be followed by other Samsung devices in early of 2016.

We remind you that, recently, the South Korean multinational conglomerate company headquartered in Samsung Town, Seoul, has released the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop to its devices. With other words, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update might take longer than expected as the Android Lollipop also fixed the Stagefright vulnerability.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow OTA Update To Be Released For Moto X 2015

According to TechTimes, the Moto X 2015, also known as the Moto X Pure Edition, is now in the testing phase for the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update, the same website claims the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the Moto X 2015 will be released sometime in November or December 2015.

We also remind you that Motorola is preparing to release its upcoming Droid MAXX 2 which will surely make a lot of Android fans to purchase it. This upcoming device is expected to feature a 5.5-inch full HD screen that will support a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 401ppi, a quad-core Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM and a 32GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.
