Installing iOS 9.1 update on supported iDevices

To do it via OTA, go to your device’s Settings >> General >> Software update, but make sure that you have at least 50 percent battery left before downloading the OS firmware and connect to a wireless network to not consume your mobile data.

You can get the update from the iTunes, but first, you will need to back up your device on iCloud or via iTunes, then launch iTunes (the latest version) on your computer and go to About>Check for Updates or go to iTunes.com. Next, connect your iDevice to your computer and click on iPhone/iPad/iPod in the top left navigation, then on the Check for Update button and when the update is recognized, click on Download and Update and agree to the terms or conditions and continue with the upgrade.
