Google Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P Price, Availability and Features

Google has set a November 3 on-sale date for its latest Nexus 5X and 6P in Australia and currently, the phones are available for preorder. If you’ve saved some money and you want to invest it in one of the two Nexuses, then we’ll tell you which carriers and retail stores are selling these phones, and what are their prices.

Nexus 5X

This model has been created by LG and has a smaller Full HD screen of 5.2-inch, it’s powered by a Qualcomm MSM8992 Snapdragon 808 hexa core processor and it’s available in two storage sizes: 16GB or 32GB, while the available colors are blue, black and white. On the front side it has a 5MP camera, while the one from the back supports 12.3MP and has laser autofocus and dual-LED Flash,

If you want to buy it on plan, you’ll have only one option. Telstra is selling the 32GB option (black or blue) with the Go Mobile plan which costs AU$70 per month and in total, at the end of the 24-month contract ends, you’ll pay AU$1,680.

If you don’t want to be tied to contracts, then the retail price for the 16GB variant in black, from Harvey Norman, is AU$659. The 32GB variant in black from JB Hi-Fi costs AU$739.

Nexus 6P

This phablet has an aluminum design and a wide glossy black band on its back, which contains the camera, the phone was created by Huawei and it sports a 5.7-inch AMOLED screen with a QHD resolution, it’s powered by the faster Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 octa core processor and it’s available in three storage options: 32/64/128 GB. The rear camera supports 12MP and comes with laser autofocus and dual-LED flash, while the front camera takes incredible selfies, because its resolution is 8MP.

The two carriers that will offer the Nexus 6P are Optus and Vodafone, but they haven’t given any details about the plans, we know only that Optus will sell the 32GB variant in aluminum, while Vodafone will sell the 64GB model.

The 64GB variant in aluminum will be sold also without a contract and the phone will be available through JB Hi-Fi and Harvey Norman, at a price of AU$999, but you’ll be able also to purchase the 32GB version from the Google Play Store and the price will be AU$899. On the 128GB version (frost color) you’ll spend AU$1,099.
