Adobe Flash Player 19.0.0.226 Download Released With Patched Vulnerability

4

Adobe has released the Flash Player version 19.0.0.226 which has patched an exploit for CVE-2015-7645. The developers are also working on updates that will prevent hackers from gaining access to the affected devices.

The Adobe Flash Player is compatible with many browsers such as: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Opera etc. This is the reason why this is the most used player out there, the player is able to read almost all the effects and animations that are embedded into websites.

However, as we’ve told you above, the player is not so secure, which makes a big amount of computers to be vulnerable to hacker attacks. As many of you already know, YouTube already ditched Adobe’s Flash Player for HTML5 and it seems that other big companies will follow soon enough.

It’s just a matter of time until HTML5 will take the place of the Adobe Flash Player. We’re not sure if this player can be saved right now, because there were too many issues with it in these past years and the developers haven’t managed to fix a good amount of them.

We also remind you that the CVE-2015-7645 vulnerability was used by hackers to attack foreign affairs ministries all over the world, this is the reason why the developers have fixed this issue so fast.

Adobe is a bit too late with fixes for all the Flash Player issues and they will need to just it and recognize that they’ve messed it up and that their player is slowly dying. Whether we like it or not, soon enough, all websites will start using the HTML5 player, this player is without any doubts way more stable and secure than the Adobe Flash Player.

What are your thoughts about the Adobe Flash Player? Have you ever had issues with this player?
