Samsung’s list of Galaxy 4 models that will embrace the Android Marshmallow update is out. Allegedly, all of the Galaxy Note 4 models will receive this update OTA. According to You Mobile, besides the rollout of the Android M, Samsung is also planning to include its personal software to the latter OS.
For the time being, these updates are still being run through various verifications but as soon as all glitches have been eliminated, it will be rolled out to the Galaxy Note models. So, without any further ado here is the complete enumeration of all Galaxy Note 4 models that will be updated with the Android M in Q1 of 2016. Note: Currently all of the listed devices run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
The list of Galaxy Note 4 models that are qualified to receive the Android M upgrade are: SM-N910C, SM-N910F, SM-N9100 Duos, SM-N910H, SM-N910L, SM-N910V, SM-N916S, SM-N910T, SM-N910G, SM-N910U, SM-N910W8, SM-N9109W, SM-N916W SM-N910K, SM-N916L, SM-N916K, SM-N9108V, SM-N910S, SM-N910P and SM-N910R4.
Just to freshen up you memory a bit, this new Android Marshmallow upgrade will pack a lot of new improvements. The app permissions are a whole different story, the doze element which will boost up your battery life span, the USB-Type C support will be part of the package as well, the fingerprint sensor addition which is meant to unlock your handset or make sure no one but you has accesses to it.
