Nexus 6 vs. Oppo N1 – Which Phablet Will Impress You With Its Specs?

For example, the Nexus 6 has a QHD screen, a powerful processor and it’s water resistant, while the Oppo N1 comes with a rotating camera module and a bigger battery, let’s see how these phones stack against each other.
Designs and Displays
The Nexus 6 is first Motorola’s smartphone for Google and its design was inspired from the Moto X 2014 flagships. It has a curved plastic back with a matte effect and two variants of colors: Midnight Blue and Cloud White. It has a metal frame and the familiar dimple with the M logo engraved inside, and on the front side are dual speakers. The dimensions of the Nexus 6 are 159.3x83x10.1mm, its weight is 184grams and the display is AMOLED sized at 5.96-inch, supporting a QHD resolution with 493ppi.
The Oppo N1 has also a plastic back, but it’s available in White and dark blue, while its bottom side is curved. There are two chamfered metal rims around the sides and the back panel is touch sensitive. The camera module can be rotated 206 degrees and it can be used as a rear or front camera, thanks to the swivel mechanism. The phone measures 170.7×82.6x9mm and it’s much heavier at 213grams, the screen is IPS LCD and measures 5.9-inch, while its resolution is Full HD with 373ppi.
The Nexus 6 has a faster 32bit Qualcomm processor, using the Snapdragon 805 model with four cores clocked at 2.7GHz, which are backed by 3GB of RAM. The Oppo N1 has a Snapdragon 600 quad core processor running at 1.7GHz and it’s backed by 2GB of RAM. The Nexus 6 supports Adreno 420 graphics and offers two variants of internal memories of 32GB and 64GB, which can’t be expanded, while the Oppo N1 uses Adreno 320 graphics and has also unexpandable storage, but which is available in variants of 16GB and 32GB.
Cameras and Batteries
The Nexus 6 has a primary camera of 13MP with OIS and dual-LED flash, which records 2160p videos @30fps with OIS, while the front camera supports 2MP, the Oppo N1 has the 13 MP camera with a rotating lens and on the back side it supports dual-LED flash, while the front side has a single LED flash.
The battery of the Nexus has a capacity of 3220mAh, while the Oppo N1 has a larger 3610 battery which is removable.
