Skype To Get Into The Indian Market – App Better Than WhatsApp and Hike?

0

Microsoft, the owner of Skype, has announced last week that the company will bring a new application that will be available exclusively for the Indian users. It seems that Microsoft is challenging Hike and WhatsApp applications and wants to make sure that its application will be a lot better than its rivals.

Currently, Microsoft is working on some Indian specific features that will be incorporated into the Skype application. It seems that the American multinational technology company headquartered in Redmond, Washington, wants to make sure that their features are available on many mobile devices and that they will go “big in mobile messenger applications”.

Currently, Skype is being optimized for mobile devices that are not so powerful, so that more and more users will be able to use it soon enough. Currently, Skype has over 300 million users and it seems that India is one of the top five markets using the video calling feature.

Microsoft is currently working on a new product called Dialer Application, which will allow devices that don’t have a good internet connection to connect to the internet. This application will be actually a video sharing application that works on 2G devices without any problems.

The guys from Microsoft said that they are doing many experiments right now and as soon as they find the formula and feel that it is the right kind of product for India, they will release it. In addition, they are also working a lot on improving Skype in order to run without any problems in India.

It is just a matter of time until Microsoft will finally release its Dialer Application and we will see if this application will be well received by the Indian users.

Do you think that the upcoming Dialer Application will convince the Indian users to ditch applications such as WhatsApp or Hike?
