Moto G Turbo Amazing Specs and Features – Better Than Moto G 2015
A few months after the launch of the Moto G 2015 Motorola announced in a very discreet way, in Mexico, a new mainstream gadget: Moto G Turbo.
In recent years, though Motorola has passed through the hands of several different owners can be proud of a series of launches in the form of interesting smartphones, some cheaper than others. To complement the full spectrum of claims we mention Moto X, Moto G and Moto E with incremental upgrades implemented almost every year.
Moto G 2015 was not a very powerful smartphone, it was built around a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410, to obtain a low purchase price and a 5-inch display with HD resolution for a decent image clarity. The new Moto G Turbo Edition is a significant upgrade compared to that device, but aesthetically not very much has changed.
The new Moto G Turbo uses the same 5-inch panel with a native 720p resolution, although there are some online sources that refer to an upgrade to HD for the new smartphone. Present in Moto X Play, the Snapdragon 615 processor assisted by Adreno GPU 405 included in G Turbo is significantly more agile, the amount of RAM jumped up to 2GB, 16GB internal memory and 2470mAh battery.
The latter will charge very quickly due to the implementation of proprietary TurboPower system. The two cameras encountered at Moto G 2015 are 13 megapixel and 5 megapixel, for weather resistance, Moto G Turbo Edition is IP67 certified and comes preinstalled with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
We don’t know when Moto G Turbo Edition will reach other parts of the world than Mexico, but we still have some benchmarks linked to its financial value. Available since November 13, the phone costs about 280 dollars, 60 dollars more than a basic configuration of Moto G (1GB RAM, 8GB memory).
