Every single major manufacturer out there is thrilled to have their devices embrace the Android Marshmallow upgrade.
While Nexus 5 and Nexus 6 were the first ones to enjoy this major upgrade, Sony is believed to roll out the Android 6.0 upgrade by the end of the year. Even if Sony’s list of Xperia devices that will receive the Android M upgrade is out and about, no clear dates have been provided for the users.
According to Sony Mobile blog, a test build of the Android 6.0 M has reached Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact devices, however this only targets an elite group of users. According to the same source, the upgrade will soon reach Xperia handsets in the upcoming future.
According to Phone Arena, the Stamina Mode will be enhanced so that it will improve the battery duration on all Xperia Z5 devices. The latter functionality can improve the battery life by limiting some background procedures. Even if the Android M upgrade will bring major battery improvements, Sony is planning on updating its software.
