The Android 6.0 Marshmallow is already rolling out to the Nexus devices, but it will take some time until it will also be released for other devices.
It seems that Lenovo has finally revealed on its support page the list of devices that will receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. According to the list, the A7000, A7000 Plus, Viber P1, Viber S1 and K3 Note will be the first Lenovo smartphones that will receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.
For some reason, shortly after the list was spotted, it was removed from the support page. We’re not sure why Lenovo did that, but hopefully they will update it once again and show even more devices that will receive the latest Android OS Update.
The official Android Upgrade Matrix Support page of Lenovo had state that its A7000, A7000 Plus and K3 Note devices will receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in September 2016, while the Vibe P1 and Vibe S1 will be updated to the latest Android OS update in June 2016.
We remind you that most of the leading smartphone brands such as Motorola, Samsung or Sony are already working on releasing the Android 6.0 Marshmallow for their smartphones. However, since the Chinese smartphone makers prefer to customize the Android updates before releasing them, there is a delay before the latest Android OS version gets available for their devices.
On the other hand, Huawei, the Chinese tech giant, has announced its plan for releasing the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to its Honor smartphones. According to the list, the Honor 4X, Honor 6, Honor 6 Plus, Honor 6 and Honor 4C will receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow sometime in February 2016.
According to GSMArena, the Ascend P8 Max, Mate S, Media Pad X2, Ascend G7, Mate 7 and Ascend P8 will also receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow, but it is not known yet when that will happen.
