Fallout 4 vs. Witcher 3 – Which Game is Better?
It’s been a great year for role-playing games, thanks to Bethesda and CD Projekt Red. Bethesda has released its Fallout 4 while CD Projekt Red has released its Witcher 3. Both games are based on a different time line, but the idea of the game remains mostly the same, as it is focusing on the players’ “freedom”.
Witcher 3 revolves around the family, but Fallout 4 is more like a survival game in a wasteland. Both games come with many side quests along with the main quest line. There are a lot of collectibles all over the map and you will need to play many hours to complete these two games.
The Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 can last around 100 hours of gameplay, which even for the fans are too many. However, if you want to complete every single side quest and do everything in one of these two games, you will need to “spend” about 400 hours of gameplay.
Without any doubts, when it comes to graphics, Witcher 3 is surely over the Fallout 4. However, when it comes to gameplay, Fallout 4 comes with a lot of improvements, especially to the combat.
Shooting feels more fun in both games, but when it comes to combat, in Witcher 3 you will need to use a different strategy for different bosses. However, that doesn’t happen so often and there are high chances that you will encounter the same type of enemies for most of the game.
The story in Witcher 3 may vary from a person to another as it will depend on the choices you make during the game. Both games allow the players to make choices and play the game in their own style. In addition, they come with some great side quests that have unpredictable story conclusions.
When it comes to the FPS (frames per seconds), it seems that the console players will feel a bit of lag from time to time, while the experience is much smoother when played on a decent computer.
We think that both Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 are strong contenders for the “Game of the Year” award.
