The Windows Phone fans must be prepared, because the Lumia 950 will soon hit the stores of the AT&T mobile carrier.
According to AT&T, the Lumia 950 will be sold by this carrier starting on November 20, 2015, with an off-contract price of 600 dollars. However, the subscribers can divvy this sum into:
– 19.97 dollars for 30 months with an upgrade option after 24 months,
– 24.96 dollars for 24 months with an upgrade option after 18 months,
– 29.95 dollars for 20 months with an upgrade option after 12 months.
In addition, you will be able to pay 150 dollars for the Lumia 950 and by signing a two-year contract, but the cost service will vary from 15 to 25 dollars per month, depending on the size of the data plan.
AT&T is currently the only carrier that’s supporting the Windows 10 Mobile, but this deal will most likely not be exclusive anymore sometime soon. In the AT&T’s press release it says the “first US carrier” to sell the Lumia 950, which leaves open the possibility of a new carrier to support it in the future.
We remind you that Microsoft hasn’t released a Windows Phone flagship since early 2014 and the last high-end AT&T Windows phone was the Lumia 1520 device that has been released in November 2013.
Better Lumia 950 Deals?
AT&T is the only carrier that allows you to pay the device using contract-based or monthly installment pricing, however, if you have the money for it, you will do better and buy an unlocked phone instead of purchasing it from AT&T.
We remind you that, last month, Microsoft announced that the Lumia 950 will cost 600 dollars, currently we see AT&T’s total price is 600 dollars, which clearly means that you will be able to purchase the Lumia 950 directly from Microsoft for only 550 dollars.
Do you want to purchase the Lumia 950 once it will hit the stores? Will you purchase it from AT&T or Microsoft?
