WhatsApp 2.12.363 Download Available For Android – Rich Preview And Starred Messages

WhatsApp’s developers released a stable version of this application for Android, but they continued to work on beta versions, because there were many bugs that needed to be fixed. Also, the developers are testing new features, which need to work perfectly until they are added to the stable version and we’re expecting that the option to backup chats on the Google Drive will be available for all devices, as in the previous beta version 2.12.361.

WhatsApp 2.12.363 is the latest beta version and it was increased by only 4Kb over the previous version. There weren’t added or removed any files, as the developers modified nine files, so there are more important changes in the version 2.12.361, such as the possibility to add a star to a message and to delete chats for months or days, not to empty the entire chat. In this version have been deleted seven files and there have been added 75 new files to the existing 445 files, and some are related to the Google Drive option. Also, when receiving a link, it will include a rich preview so you can get a clue about what it contains. Besides, those who are logging into their accounts from a computer can use Microsoft Edge to access the web.whatsapp.com website.

It’s very simple to install a beta version on a mobile device running on Android, but the users need to enable the Unknown sources option by going to Menu> Settings> Security and checking the box in front of it. This measure of precaution is taken in order to prevent applications downloaded from third party sources to be installed on an Android device because it may contain viruses or other malware files which can harm the device.

Since WhatsApp 2.12.363 is a beta version, it may come with other bugs and errors and if you find any, let us know, or contact the developers and tell them to fix them.
