Have you already pre-ordered your new Apple TV?
If no, then don’t! There is a new report that suggests Apple will be availing the new Apple TV gadget in its stores here in the U.S.
This news comes through 9to5Mac and it is contrary to earlier reports which suggested that the users can still pre-order these devices and get them on a priority-based delivery system that will begin shipping soon. However, any other standard shipments will start coming in later.
It seems things have changed just a little bit as Cupertino will start selling the new Apple TV set top boxes in its stores. According to Apple retail employees, the stores will be receiving these devices in November’2015 It is also reported that Apple Store will be reorganized in order to pave way for the new Apple TV’s sale.
First in first out
Of course, there are lots of people who had already pre-ordered this new TV set top box from Apple following the announcement that the process can commence. In case you did so during the first stages of the program, you will be happy to know that your chances of getting the gadget are very high. However, those who placed their orders later will have to wait for a bit longer, maybe for a month, before they can get their hands on the new Apple TV box.
If you take a quick look at the official Apple website, you will still see the expected delivery dates for the pre-orders. You can check and confirm when you can expect it.
Well, not everyone lives near an Apple Store and if you are a victim of this, you will have to resort to other means of getting the new gadget from Apple. One recommended means is to get it from Best Buy or B&H, among other resellers. These stores allow pre-orders to be made, of which the products will be delivered at the earliest.
As of now, Best Buy already lists the 32GB and 64GB models as “available for pre-order.”
The new Apple TV will come along with a new UI, support for Siri, an App Store as well as better remote control; all at a price of $149 and $199 for the 32GB and 64GB versions, respectively.
