Xbox One vs. PS4 vs. Wii U – Which Console To Choose This Year’s Holidays?
Santa Claus is expected to arrive in one month. If you’ve been a naughty “kid”, then you won’t get any present, so you’ll need to buy your favorite gadgets with money from your own pocket. If you’re a gamer and you’re planning to buy a new console, then here are three suggestions of big names: Xbox One, Wii U and PS4, which are worth buying. Nintendo has released its console three years ago, so it’s a bit obsolete compared to the other two models, which have been upgraded regularly and received new features.
Before deciding which console to buy, make sure it with your favorite first-party game. Some consoles have exclusive games and the Xbox One is the leader here, because until Christmas, Microsoft will add more titles than its rivals, which include Halo 5: Guardians and Forza Motorsport 6, while Rise of the Tomb Raider will be exclusive for Xbox 360. Xbox One will benefit also from a remake of the first Gears game, which will be called Gears of War: Ultimate Edition.
Sony is preparing some cool first-party titles for its PS 4, such as Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, but the game will come later in 2016, along with The Last Guardian and No Man’s Sky.
Nintendo most likely will prepare some tiles for its upcoming NX machine, and the list of games will include Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash, Super Mario Maker and Xenoblade Chronicles X and in 2016, Star Fox Zero will be the last important addition.
There are many titles that the publishers have released for both the Xbox One and PS 4, bun some games offer newer missions or better DLC on a console over the over and vice versa.
The Wii U has a few available third-party titles and the kids love the exclusive starter pack for Skylanders Superchargers, which contains a Donkey Kong Skylander.
Sony has its PlayStation VR headset with which the gamers can play games in virtual reality. The device will be available in 2016 and will compete against the Oculus Rift. Microsoft, on the other hand, built HoloLens, an augmented reality headset whose release date is not known yet. Unfortunately, Nintendo hasn’t thought about bringing add-ons for its Wii U, but we’re waiting to see if the NX 2016 console will reveal something nice.
