GTA 5 Update – Every Bullet Counts Multiplayer Mode

0

Recently Rockstar Games has stated that a new online mode for Grand Theft Auto 5 will be available. It will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC gamers, just as the latest DLCs.

The new mode will be called Every Bullet Counts. It is a online player-vs-palyer mode that throws players into a death-match. Every player is on its own, the purpose of the mode is to finish all the other players with limited ammunition and relying mostly on melee weapons. The winner will be the last man alive.

Rockstar Games explains: “With no safe place to hide, four players go up against each other in a confined space with a very limited arsenal, just one Marskman Pistol and two bullets to take out three opponents.” After you run out of ammo, it comes down to how skilled you are with a machete or a hatchet.

When first hearing about this mode, the solution seems simple in everyone’s mind, hide and wait for the others to finish of each other or to run out of ammo. But, the developers took this into consideration and added a few features that will prevent camping. If a player stays still for five seconds or more, his position will be revealed on the map, making it an easy target for the other players. This mode, states the studio, is meant to be played wisely, with players skillfully moving from cover to cover and getting their best chance to kill the opponents with one shot.

At the moment the mode is live and can be accessed via GTA online, it can be played on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Unfortunately PS4 and Xbox 360 will not be able to play Every Bullet Counts because, as the developer previously stated, Rockstar Games is focused into bringing new content for the latest generation of consoles and PC, that can’t be accessed on the previous generation of consoles due to their technical limitations. Imran Sarwar, director of design for Rockstar North stated that the company will not add more content to older content do to their lack of memory, and adding content at this point will break them.
