Apple iOS 9.2 Update Got Released With Lots Of Fixes – New Improvements Available

In October, Apple has confirmed that the company is working on the iOS 9.2 update for its latest flagship smartphone and at the beginning of the week the update was released without a warning. So, if you want to install iOS 9.2 on your iPhone 6S, you can do it over-the-air. The update has a rich change log, according to which 150 new emojis have been added to keyboard, but more important are the security patches, bug fixes and other improvements.

iOS 9.2 comes with improvements to the battery life, app performance, connectivity etc., and the users said that they started receiving the updated on Tuesday and that they haven’t noticed any major problems. Apple has been very transparent about this release and according to the change log, in iOS 9.2 was fixed the bug that was causing the alarm to stay on when updating iOS; some manual iCloud Backups were prevented from completing, so this issue was also solved, and mail attachments were inaccessible for some users which had POP email accounts, so the developers had to solve this problem.

From the change log, we’ve found out that the developers have improved stability of Safari and Podcasts, they fixed the issues related to VoiceOver, when the Camera face detection was used; another issue was related to the speech rate of Speak Screen and Guided Access, when the users where ending phone calls; another bug was preventing data from appearing in Health; Wallet updates and Lock screen alerts were prevented from displaying and some users couldn’t log into Find my iPhone, and another bug was causing attachments to overlap text in mail. The list of bug fixes solved problems with the Camera screen on iPad which could be black when attempting to capture video; Activity app became unstable when viewing the day of Daylight Savings Time transition; Live Photos was turning off after restoring from a previous iCloud backup; search in Contacts wasn’t displaying any results; the iPad keyboard was triggering text selection mode; Calendar wasn’t displaying all seven days in week view and on Cyrillic keyboards, caps lock was enabled when typing in URL or email fields.
