iOS 9 Upgrade For iPhone Or iPad – Enhance Your Experience

0

Apple has unveiled its iOS 9 in September, coming installed on the iPhone 6S, 6S Plus, iPad Mini 4 and iPad Pro, then the operating system started rolling out to the rest of devices which have been released in 2011 and later. This means that iOS 9 will run even on the iPhone 4S or iPad 2, but if you don’t know how to update your device, in this article we’ll give you two methods to do that.

Over-the-air

You must connect your iDevice to a Wi-Fi network and you must have installed iOS 8.4.1, which is the version before iOS 9. Then, you will go to your phone or tablet’s Settings > General > Software Update and click the Download and Install button. While this is an easier method, you will need to wait until the installation process completes, because the servers can become overwhelmed when there are too many users trying to update their mobile devices.

Via iTunes

This method will help you easily download and install iOS 9 via iTunes, but you need to install the latest version of the application, which is 12.2.2, so if you have an older version, update it now. Open the program, go to the menu and select Check for Updates. After updating iTunes, connect your iDevice to a computer with the lightning charging cable. There’s an iPhone device logo on the upper left corner on which you’ll need to click, then you’ll tap the Download and Update button.

iOS 9 came with an improved battery life, although the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus have smaller units than their predecessors. The Power Saving Mode is doing a good job, as it reduces background processes, lowers brightness and does other things that help the battery to conserve juice. The file size has been reduced, requiring only 1.3GB of free space, while the previous version needed 4.68GB. Siri has become smarter and Proactive assistant was inspired by Android’s Google Now service and it provides suggestions based on the user’s daily schedule or calendar entries etc.
