Minecraft Wii U Version Will Support Keyboards and Voice Chat – Newest Improvements and Fixes
The upcoming Minecraft: Wii U version will be released in a few days. According to some reports, this new version of Minecraft will support USB keyboards that will allow you to send messages and it will be compatible with the Wii U Pro Controller. According to the user Gamestoper from Reddit, the Wii U version will also include the voice chat functionality.
However, these features have not been confirmed by Mojang, the creator of Minecraft. At the same time, Microsoft, the company that bought Mojang back in 2014 for 2.5 billion dollars, hasn’t say anything about this. With other words, we should take these rumors with a bit of salt.
We remind you that a few days ago, on December 9, 2015, it was revealed that the Minecraft: Wii U version will not allow the players to use the console’s GamePad for inventory management, as many gamers have expected. Owen Hill, the director of creative communications at Mojang, has replied to some questions on his Twitter account, saying that a feature like this will be awesome, but currently it will not be supported by this upcoming version of the game. He added that this is not something impossible, which means that there are high chances that this feature will be released later.
Both Nintendo and Mojang have promised that they will bring updates to the Minecraft: Wii U version in the future, so we should expect many improvements to the game in the next weeks after the official launch. Minecraft: Wii U version will be released on December 17, 2015 and it will include 6 FREE DLC packs and many more that will be available for purchase.
Nobody thought that Minecraft will be so popular and that it will be available for so many operating systems. Currently, Minecraft is available for Amazon Kindle Fire, Windows 10, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, iOS, Android and Windows Phone.
Will you buy the Minecraft: Wii U version once it will be released?
