Being priced at Rs 14,449, the Motorola Moto G Turbo device that was just released is taking on the Samsung Galaxy J7 device, which is also marked at Rs 14,999. Two devices with the same price sticker, but which one will offer more?
Design and Display
The Samsung Galaxy J7 sports a plastic chassis and mirrors previous Samsung handset models. It has the following measurements 152.2×79.1×7.9 mm and weighs merely 169 grams.
The Moto G Turbo also sports the same look as previous Motorola gizmos, however it tends to look a bit more freshen up than the Samsung device. It measures 142.1×72.4x 6.1-11.6 mm and tips the scale at 155 grams. Another thing to consider about the Moto G is that it is a waterproof handset.
As far as the display, the Motorola Moto G Turbo packs a 5-inch IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and a resolution 1280×720 pixels and 267 ppi. The Samsung Galaxy J7 on the other hand rocks a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with identical resolution but a smaller pixel density.
Processors & Internal Memory Options
The Samsung Galaxy J7 has a Snapdragon 615 clocked at 1.5 GHz octa-core processor along with 1.5 GB of RAM while for the internal storage options, users have the 16 GB option which can be extended to 128 GB.
The Motorola Moto G Turbo also has a Snapdragon 615 but it comes packed with 2GB of RAM. As for the internal memory, there is the 16 GB option which can also be extended to 32 GB.
Software, Shooters and Battery
The Motorola Moto G Turbo runs Android Lollipop along with the stock UI with a possible Android Marshmallow upgrade in the near future. The Samsung Galaxy J7 also runs Android Lollipop and users can enjoy the Samsung Touch Wiz OS.
Camera wise, the Motorola Moto G Turbo packs a 13 MP back end camera with dual LED flash, slow motion video, video HDR elements and more. The front camera is a 5 MP snapper. The Samsung Galaxy J7 comes with a 13 MP auto-focus main snapper and a 5 MP one as well.
As for the battery part, the Samsung Galaxy J7 contains a 3000 mAh battery while the Motorola Moto G Turbo has a smaller battery unit, this being 2470 mAh.
The J7 device is said to offer users 15 hours of chat time while the Moto G Turbo offers up to 24 hours of chat and standby usage and if you charge it for 15 minutes, you can rest assure as the battery will last up to 6 hours.
