In 2016, two successors of the famous flagships HTC One M9 and LG G4 will be presented with much fanfare. Their manufacturers are doing their best to come up with revolutionary concepts which will blow everyone’s minds and if you’re one of the fans who are waiting anxiously to get their hands on the One M10 or the G5, then here’s what you need to know about them.

HTC One M10

The rumors say that it will come under a different name and some sources revealed that it will be called “Perfume”. However, on Twitter have been circulated other names such as HTC One X9 and HTC O2, but until we’ll have an official confirmation from the Taiwanese company, we can’t tell you for sure if Perfume or the other rumored names will be associated with the upcoming One M10.

Regarding its specs, without a doubt the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset will be present inside the One M10, as the company will want to be among the first ones to release a flagship which will be powered by the upcoming octa core processor, which will support up to 4GB of RAM.

The screen will receive an increase of size, and it will measure 5.2-inch, while the resolution will be finally upgraded to 2560 x 1440 pixels, but it’s early to tell if the technology that HTC will use will be AMOLED like on the One A9, or LCD.

The One M10 will definitely feature a fingerprint scanner, but it’s nor sure if the rear camera will have the same resolution of 20MP. We haven’t seen any leaked images of the One M10, but the device will stick to a metal body and HTC will make some changes to its design. As for the battery, it will come with Quick Charge 3.0 support.

LG G5

The flagship will have a full metal body which will look completely different from that of its predecessor, it will be powered by the same processor as the One M10, while the screen will measure 5.6-inch and will be a flexible True HD IPS with a higher resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K).

After Microsoft has released its Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL with an eye scanner, now it’s LG’s turn to adopt this technology. The company is collaborating with a South Korean-based technology company named IRIENCE in order to develop an eye scanner which will be able to recognize the user’s iris from a distance of 50cm. But that doesn’t mean that the fingerprint scanner will be absent. In fact, the rumors say that LG will release its own

LG Planning Own Mobile Payment Platform mobile payment system and now it’s in talks with various credit card companies.

While the battery will have a capacity of 4000mAh, the rear camera is expected to support 20MP and the lens will have a width of 1/2 an inch, which means that the shots will look amazing in low light conditions.
