Android 6.1 Marshmallow Split Screen Better App Permissions – Release Date and Improvements

0

The very first time we heard talk about Android 6.0 M was in the month of May and later on, in the month of October the latter was officially launched, This was one launch that stirred up quite some waves.

Even if the name is different, well basically a simple letter was changed, the improvements are not that big in comparison with the 5.1.1 Lollipop. However, one important change is the permission feature, which will definitely be revamped in the upcoming Android 6.1.

The Android 6.1 M will roll out in June 2016 and it will also bring the split-screen support and of course an upgraded permissions feature.

This may or may not be true, so don’t get your hopes up too high. But then again, dreaming has never hurt anyone.

The new Android 6.1 M will hold on to its name, so don’t expect any other major improvements with the latter, even if this might change during these forthcoming months, sources claim that besides the two features mentioned above, no new ones will be included in the Android 6.1 M release.

Most users complain about the permissions system, that tends to be chaotic and it definitely needs a change, we can only hope that Google will find the perfect fix for the app permission system, once the Android 6.1 is released.

The good news is that the split-screen feature will also be part of the new upgrade and of course some bug fixes as well. That’s all we know for now, however stay close as we’ll update you as soon as we know more. Let’s hope Google will stick to its promise and release this new version of Android soon, as fans are always looking forward to receiving better and improved Android versions.
