Supercell, the developer of Clash of Clans, has made some significant changes to the Town Hall 11 personal break system after the players’ reaction. In order to counterbalance it, the Village Guard system has also been modified.
After doing a short maintenance break, the revised timer is now active in Clash of Clans. Also, a bug that was forcing the gamers into personal break, even after being offline for the requested time, has been fixed.
The Village Guard was intended to act as a shield while the clan owner was away. The Guard Time can be purchased with gems, but it is also offered for free after certain time intervals too.
After the latest Clash Of Clans update, high leagues such as Legend and Titan will have one hour more of free guard time than before. At the same time, the players that are in any Champion league will get only 30 more minutes of free guard time and the ones who are below Champion league will have only 15 more minutes.
Until now, Supercell hasn’t really listened to the feedback from its fans. However, it seems that the developers from this company understood that they need to listen to the players, or else this game will die.
With these changes, Supercell proves that the development group has been listening to the players the whole time and that they are willing to do some tweaks to make the gamers happy. The Clash of Clans Town Hall 11 update is now available for Android and iOS devices and can be updated via the Google Play Store or Apple Store.
What are your thoughts about the Village Guard and the personal break changes? Do you think that Supercell will keep tweaking their game to the players’ wishes?
