Even if Google encountered several technical failures when collaborating with Huawei on the Nexus 6P device, the titan company is willing to give Huawei a clean slate, as the latter will be in charge of the Nexus 7 tablet.

AndoirdHeadlines spilled the beans and the latter source, strongly affirm that the upcoming tablet, dubbed Nexus 7 will be in the hands of manufacturer Huawei.

The first and foremost Nexus 7 tablet was reasonably priced and it proved that consumers didn’t need to spend buck loads of money to enjoy an upright type of tablet experience. So, the tablet just flew off the shelves in 2012, and according to the reports 1 million units were shipped on a monthly basis.

According to various innuendos, the new Nexus 7 (2016) tablet may see the light of day during the summer months (June or August) of the upcoming year at the world famous Google I/O convention.

Rumored specs of the Nexus 7 tablet

This device is believed to rock a 7-inch display and it might just run on the Android N, a new and improved Android built that might also surface in the upcoming year.

Under the hood, the device might have a Snapdragon 810 CPU coupled with 3GB of RAM and users can expect wireless radios and an enhanced Wi-Fi connection. Some believe that we might even see a QHD panel, but we’ll just have to see what happens. This is still an open question though, if Google wishes to maintain the costs for this future tablet at a low price tag.  Many believe that the price will be a fairly decent one given the alleged features and specs. We are keeping our fingers crossed that Huawei will stick to the same metal chassis that the Nexus 6P rocks. Stay close for more updates.
