The iOS jailbreaker teams PanGu and TaiG are still working hard to finally jailbreak the iOS 9.1 and the new iOS 9.2.
According to a report, the Pangu team is currently working on jailbreaking the latest iOS 9.2 version that was just released for the public. According to some rumors, the hacker team is getting closer and closer on jailbreaking the latest iOS version and it will just take them a bit more time until then.
According to DayHerald, PanGu hacker team has already released a “semi-jailbreak” solution for the iOS 9.1 version. Unfortunately, this tool doesn’t offer complete functions and components. With other words, we suggest you to not install it right now on your iDevice and just wait patiently until the hacker team will manage to entirely jailbreak the iOS 9.1 or iOS 9.2.
In the meantime, Apple has released the iOS 9.2 for the public. With other words, anyone who wants can already download and install the iOS 9.2 on their iDevices. The iOS 9.2 is not a major update, but it comes with some minor bug fixes and security improvements.
Currently, you can jailbreak your iDevices that run on iOS 9, iOS 9.0.1 and iOS 9.0.2. If you want to keep all the features that a jailbroken iOS comes with, we suggest you to not update your iDevice to iOS 9.1 or iOS 9.2. This is because it will take some time until one of the two hacker groups, which we’ve mentioned above, will finally release a jailbreak tool for the iOS 9.1 and iOS 9.2.
Keep in mind that if you update your iDevice to iOS 9.1 or iOS 9.2, you will not be able to downgrade the device to iOS 9, 9.0.1 or 9.0.2, as Apple has stopped signing these iOS versions.
Do you think that an iOS 9.2 jailbreak tool will be released before the end of the year?
