Fallout 4 is an action role-playing video that that was developed by Bethesda and it was released for Windows PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 10, 2015. Today after one and a half year since it was launched, the game is still very popular and in fact, there are also many new players that are trying it out.

As most of you know, there are lots of Fallout 4 mods out there and many players prefer to use them in their game. Unfortunately, some of them may cause the game to either randomly crash or lag.

Illsonmedia from Reddit claims that he has mods on and even if he tries to load the original play that was never modded, the play loads perfectly without any problems, but it crashes if he turns the mouse fast to look around. “I did have different mods on this play through a couple months ago and tried loading that game (originally because it was further ahead than my most recent un-modded save). That crashed the same way,” Illsonmedia said.

It seems that he had some unstable mods before, which he has removed, but thanks to bythehomeworld, he managed to fix this issue. The user explained that even after deleting some Fallout 4 mods, most of them will leave some altered files behind, causing the game to crash. In order to fix this issue, the player needs to check the game’s cache and delete the files that were left behind by the bugged mod.

We also suggest you install mods 1 by 1, instead of installing two or more at the same time, as you will never know which one of them is causing the issue (in case the game crashes).
