Pokemon Go Grass Event Extended with New Improvements

0 0

Pokemon Go events are some of the most widely-expected bonuses in Niantic’s beloved game because they offer some really cool perks for players and their Pokemon collection of a certain kind. Thus, a Rock Type event will bring bonuses for Rock Pokemon, a Water Type event will bring bonuses for Water Pokemon, and so on forth. Therefore, a Grass Event will obviously be destined for Grass Pokemon, which is a very popular type among users.

And the latest Pokemon Go Grass Type event was supposed to go down starting May 8th, and it was supposed to bring an entire array of Grass-related perks and bonuses with it. But something went wrong. Keep reading to find out what and why.

Soft Bans Everywhere

Many players went onto their games, excited for the new Grass event that was just starting. However, to their dismay, many of them were announced that they had been ‘soft banned’, which made them unable to properly play the game, and thus unable to profit from the Grass Event. This has caused quite an uproar among Pokemon Go players, seeing as the bans didn’t happen under any fault of theirs.

As far as we know, this glitch was the fault of developer Niantic Labs. For the event, they had extended the Lure time from 30 minutes to 6 hours, but the coding wasn’t completely right, and players got banned for using this extra time. However, the developer has quickly managed to make up for this issue.

Grass Event Extended

If you’ve been unlucky enough to be banned during the initial run of the Grass Event, you will be happy to know that it has now been extended. And the Lure glitch has been fixed, so you don’t need to worry about any further issues.
