Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 Comes with Impressive Specs and Features
Samsung is always launching new things, to the point where it’s become hard to keep up with them. This is by no means a bad thing; in fact, we mean it as a compliment. As you may well remember, the new Samsung Galaxy S3 tablet launched earlier this year. But 2017 is bound to see another tablet launch on the part of Samsung, if we’re to take these recent leaks seriously and hold their word to them.
We’re talking about the new Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) which has recently been spotted on a specialty website under build number SM-T350. The new Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a mid-range tablet par excellence, and is considered to be a sequel. The listing appeared on the GFXBench website, which is specialized with such leaks. Some of its specs are also mentioned on the listing on the website. Let’s take a look.
First of all, the tablet will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset running at 1.4GHZ, which is not too shabby for a mid-range device. It will all run on 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt memory space. The display will be an 8-inch with 1280×800 resolution, kind of small but still good enough. The tablet will also have two cameras, one 8MP rear camera and one 5MP selfie frontal camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, and we don’t know anything about its battery life yet, but we assume it will be some middle of the road type of deal, as this is the theme with tablet. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 will be officially released at IFA 2017 this September, if these rumors are to be trusted. We’ll just have to wait and see.
