Marvel vs Capcom is one of the most beloved ones on one fighting games in the world due to its successful crossover between comic book heroes and Street Fighter characters, as well as other Capcom games. Along the years, Capcom has brought forth playable characters from the video games it had developed and published over time and Marvel threw in its famous and beloved superheroes or villains. By their powers combined, all the Marvel vs Capcom games has seen a total of 90 playable characters that gamers enjoyed greatly over the years.
More to Come
Well, it seems that it’s time for that family to expand. Now Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite, the current installment in the series, is seeing the addition of two brand new characters. Keep reading to find out what they are.
The two brand new playable characters in the Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite game are:
- Gamora from Guardians of the Galaxy
- Jedah Dohma from Darkstaklers
Without any doubt, Gamora is the more recognizable name here. The Guardians of the Galaxy live action features have enjoyed great success, with Volume 2 seeing its release just earlier this year. For those of you that don’t know, Gamora is a warrior alien princess of sorts that becomes art of the infamous Guardians of the Galaxy group, which contains, among others, a demi-Celestial (the son of an all-powerful cosmic god), a bionic talking raccoon and a sentient tree.
Jedah Dohma of the Darkstalkers series is a primary antagonist in the Capcom universe. He comes from the otherworldly realm of Makai, where was a nobleman. He is well-spoken, yet dangerous and vicious.
As you can notice, these two new additions are ones that both Marvel and Capcom fans will enjoy greatly, so we’re glad to see them arrive to the game.
