Download iOS 10.3.3 on Your iPad or iPhone

There are just a couple of months left until the release of the iPhone 8. Meanwhile, on Wednesday Apple has just released the 10.3.3 version of the iOS for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Thankfully, the update is not just a sum of bug fixes and improvements in what concerns security. Moreover, this might be the last major update we are going to get before the release of the iOS 11 in September.

Release Notes

The official release notes confirm that the 10.3.3 is merely an update that brings bug fixes. We have to agree that it’s not a major upgrade for this popular mobile iOS. Actually, the most important change is not that visible. We are talking about the fact that the tech giant replaced the HFS+ file system with the new APFS one (Apple File System).

Besides that, they also included the Find My AirPods feature, which is really useful. Users are also going to find a new widget for Podcasts and some updates in what concerns app transition animations.

Low Interest for the Update

As you might have expected, fans are not that thrilled in what concerns version 10.3.3. Apple fans have been less interested in this update than they are in the upcoming iOS 11 beta release. Now, the public beta version is available, so anyone who has a compatible iOS device can download and test out the next version. The best thing is that you can do this before the official rollout that will take place this fal.

If you want to download the latest release of the iOS 10.3.3, you have to head to Settings/ General/ Software Update. Then, tap Download and Install found at the bottom of the page. Another option is to update the system through iTunes if you connect your iOS device to the computer.
