Moto X is the dual rear camera smartphone that has been long rumored. It has been officially announced at the beginning of September in the IFA trade Show. It’s a mid-range phone, meaning that it does not aim to be a flagship smartphone, being accessible for costumers.

This doesn’t mean that it will not have impressive specs or features.

Moto X Features and Specs

Moto X has a 5.2-inch full HD display with a 1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 Snapdragon chipset at 2.2GHz. It comes in two versions with either 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, or as 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, both versions can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD card. The operating system is Android 7.1 Nougat.

The rear camera sensor sports a 12 MP sensor and an 8 MP sensor, both having a dual-tone LED Flash and being capable to record in 4K. The top bezel has a modular 16 MP camera sensor with its own LED Flash.

There are other specs such as a fingerprint scanner, it supports two SIMs, it’s certified for water and dust resistance (IP68), it has a 3,000mAh battery that can be charged at a Turbo Speed, it features a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The design includes an anodized aluminum frame; Gorilla Glass will protect the display and the back, and is completed with a rear that has a 3D contoured design.

In Europe Moto X costs €399 but in India there hasn’t been any information on its costs. Other details will surely be included in the official event that will take place in India on 3 October.
