Niantic has confirmed that Generation 3 Pokémon monsters will arrive to Pokémon Go. The confirmation came during the revealing of the soon to com Halloween 2017 event.

The biggest announcement is definitely the Generation 3 Pokémon. There were plenty of rumors surrounding this possibility but Niantic made things official and it also added that several Ghost-type Pokémon monsters will be available, coming from the Hoenn region. This includes Pokémon monsters such as Sableye or Banette and more. The news was leaked at the beginning of the week due to a datamine uncoveew sounds for all species up to #386. This would include Deoxys, #rd Generation Pokémon and the last one. The, a second leak featured Pikachu wearing a witch’s hat and some Gen 3 monsters.
The Halloween 2017 event started yesterday at midday and it will continue until the 2nd of November. Spooky Pokémon monsters will be present such as Cubone, Houndour, Misdreavus and a Pikachu wearing a Halloween costume.
Pokémon creatures available for the Halloween event
This will be the second Halloween event, two year in a row and it will include Candy rewards for those who catch, hatch and transfer Pokémon, special boxes with Raid Passes and Super Incubator and Mimikyu Disguise Hat for your avatar.
Apart from Sableye, Banette, Deoxys creatures other Gen 3 Pokemon available include Duskull and Dusclops, and they are the first ones from Ruby and Sapphire to appear in the Pokémon Go game. The other Gen 3 creatures will make their apparition gradually.
Other events surrounding the Pokémon Go game include the chance to win prizes by sharing the best AR photo you take in-game. The Entei, Raikou and Suicune legendary dogs will be available in new regions starting with the 31st of October.
