Pokemon Trading Card Game Online APK Now Available From Google Play Store

The Pokemon Company International has made an announcement in 2016 that the Pokemon Trading Card Game Online would be on Android tablets. However, this was only an open beta test to be published later.

This game was originally played on a browser before it was released on iPad, OS X, and Windows platforms. The Pokemon Trading Card Game was built using the Unity engine.

If you would want to give it a try on your Android device, then you need to be on an Android OS 4.0 or newer. Likewise, it requires only those who are 13 years old and older. However, you can’t use it without signing in to the Pokemon Trainer Club account.

Moreover, you can challenge a variety of other players online no matter what platform they are using. On initial download, the size is just 26.06MB for the version 2.45.0.

The most recent version is 2.48.0, which can be downloaded online for Android devices, released in November 2017. The gameplay allows you to play against your friends or make your computer your opponent.

The Pokemon Trading Card Game has been updated to fix some bugs and to get new features. You can get the Sun & Moon – Crimson Invasion expansion as released in November 3, 2017. Obviously, you would feel sudden improvement in the gameplay after updating the game.

You would be able to get the Pokemon TCG Online game for free from the Play Store. However, you can download the game directly from a PC and into your Android device. You can only install the APK file by enabling the Unknown Sources tab from Settings -> Security option. Only then can you install your APK file on your Android device. Just make sure you disable this option after the installation to avoid compromising the security of your device.
