Xbox One’s Recent Update – Mini Game Hubs and Fixes
The new year also brings new features for the Xbox One console. Microsoft will release the new features over the next few weeks and some of them might seem small, but they are not insignificant.
Features introduced by the most recent Xbox One update:
- “Do not Disturb”: this new feature will get rid of notifications and also announce friends that the player is busy and unavailable. This feature is important when the player is easily distracted.
- Mini Game Hubs: this feature will be available in the Guide of the console and it allows access to plenty of content for the most recent played games from a Gama Hub, without forcing the player to leave the action. The feature allows the players see online friends, Achievements to come or Group posts.
- Comments: this feature will allow players to see the most recent comment on community posts and at the same time carry one with the activity in full screen. The comments will come rearranged from the most recent at the top. Players can also see who liked the comments they have made.
- Additional inactivity shutdown options: these features are to address user feedback to the Power mode & startup menu. The console will shut down after six hours of inactivity and there will also be options for the system to shut down after two, three, four or five hours.
All in all, these features are not major security improvements or anything out of the ordinary. They are, however, important for frequent players who can now enjoy these commodities.
This eight generation video game console developed by Microsoft was released for the first time in May 2013. The console is a couple of years old, but it is still one of the most popular out there.
