0 3

Google is setting the standards higher every time it releases a new app for its mobile operating system. In fact, the only company that can compete with Google in terms of apps and software is Apple, but Apple is working on an entirely different operating system. A great example of how premium Google’s are apps is Gmail.

Gmail is an awesome email app that’s been specially developed to make it easier for Android fans to read and access all their emails. The app features a simple to use UI (user interface) that allows Android fans to save time by finding the exact emails they need. The way that Gmail is able to do that is by providing users with instant messages via push notifications and the ability respond both online and offline.

Considering that Google is the company behind Gmail, no one should be surprised that Gmail is constantly receiving APK (Android Package Kit) updates. Google is always striving to improve its apps through minor APK updates and this is exactly what’s happening with Gmail right now.

The new update is scheduled to roll out OTA (over the air) in the upcoming weeks, but eager Android fans and Gmail enthusiasts can get their hands on it ahead of time by downloading and installing the APK version of it.

APK updates are always released days, if not weeks ahead of the official launch date and they are designed for beta tester and Android fans who don’t like waiting for updates. Nonetheless, the update is measured in at 20.47MB and its targeted towards Google’s latest Android 8.0 Oreo operating system, but it can also be installed on a minimum of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Furthermore, the APK doesn’t include any new features or visual changes because its focused on repairing bugs and improving the app’s overall performance.
